Quick answer

Mines is a grid game in Hero11's Games For You collection on the Explore tab. In Mines-style games you choose how many mines hide on the board, then reveal tiles one at a time. Each safe tile raises the multiplier, and hitting a mine ends the round. Most versions let you cash out between picks. Check this version's grid, settings and rules in-game.

Where to find Mines on Hero11

  1. Open the Hero11 app or the Hero11 site and log in.
  2. On the Explore tab, scroll to Games For You and tap Mines.
  3. Open the game's rules or help screen before your first round.
  4. Set your entry and mine count only after reading the payout information.

How a Mines round works

Like Aviator, Mines is a quick-round game: each round settles in seconds. In Mines-style games the round usually runs like this:

Grid size, mine options and the payout table can differ between Mines games. The rules screen inside Hero11's Mines is the version that counts.

  • Set your entry amount.
  • Choose how many mines hide on the board. More mines usually means bigger multipliers and more risk.
  • Tap tiles to reveal them. Each safe tile raises the multiplier.
  • Cash out to settle at the current multiplier, or keep revealing.
  • Reveal a mine and the round ends with the entry lost.

Settings to check before you play

SettingWhat to look for
Grid sizeHow many tiles the board has
Mine countWhich numbers of mines you can choose and how each changes the multipliers
Multiplier tableWhat each safe reveal pays at your chosen setting
Cash-outWhen you can stop and how the result is recorded
Auto playWhether it exists, and how to stop it
DisconnectionWhat happens to an open round if your connection drops

The odds, explained simply

More mines means fewer safe tiles. Take an example 5×5 board with 3 mines: on your first tap, 22 of the 25 tiles are safe. Every safe tile you reveal leaves fewer safe tiles for the next tap, so the chance of getting through several taps in a row drops quickly while the multiplier grows.

The table shows this example board. It's simple maths for a fair, randomly filled board, not a description of Hero11's payout table.

419 of 2286.4%57.8%

No safe pattern

No tapping pattern makes a tile safe. Past boards don't show where mines will be next time, and apps claiming to see mine positions can't. Never give such an app your Hero11 login.

Common Mines misunderstandings

If any of these surprise you, reread the rules screen before your next round. Our Hero11 games list shows the other quick-round titles and where to find their rules.

  • “A mine just came up in the corner, so the corner is safe now.” Each new round is filled again; the last board says nothing about the next one.
  • “A bigger multiplier means a better chance.” It's the opposite: multipliers grow because the risk grows.
  • “Fewer mines means I can't lose.” Even one mine can be under the next tile you tap.
  • “Refreshing the page cancels the round.” The game's record decides what happened, not what your screen showed. Read the disconnection rules.
  • “Auto play will stop by itself.” Check how to stop it before you switch it on.

Checking a past round

If a result doesn't look right, note the time, your entry, the mine setting and the tiles you revealed, then check the game's own history. Our results and history guide shows where records live and what to send to Hero11's Help.

Frequently asked questions

How do you play Mines on Hero11?

Open Mines from Games For You on the Explore tab, set your entry and mine count, then reveal tiles one at a time. Each safe tile raises the multiplier and a mine ends the round. Cash out between picks to settle at the current multiplier.

How many mines should I choose?

There's no safe number. Fewer mines means more safe tiles and smaller multipliers; more mines means bigger multipliers and a higher chance of hitting one. Pick a setting you understand and an entry you can afford to lose.

Is there an app that shows where the mines are?

No. Mine positions for a new round can't be read from past boards. Apps that claim to show them are a common scam, and some steal account details.

What happens if my internet disconnects during Mines?

It depends on the game's rules. Read the disconnection section on the Mines rules screen, then check your round history after reconnecting.
