Quick answer

Open the Fantasy tab, pick Cricket or Football and choose a match card. Each card shows the tournament, both teams, the start time, the prize pool, the entry amount and the number of spots. Inside, you answer Yes/No questions about the match, such as whether a player reaches a score. Your entries then appear under My Matches until the result is settled.

Where to find Fantasy on Hero11

Hero11 describes itself as “India's Fantasy Sports Super App”, and Fantasy sits right next to Explore in the main tabs. If you were looking for quick-round games instead, see the full Hero11 games list.

  1. Open the Hero11 app, or the Hero11 site in your phone browser, and log in.
  2. Tap Fantasy in the top tabs. Explore also shows a Fantasy section with the same kind of match cards.
  3. Choose Cricket or Football. The number beside each filter shows how many matches are open.
  4. Tap a match card to open its contest details and questions.

How to read a Hero11 match card

Every match card packs the key facts into one box. Read all of them before you join, because the entry amount and spots belong to that specific contest.

Part of the cardWhat it tells you
Tournament labelThe competition the match belongs to, for example an ODI series
Teams and flagsThe two sides playing
Start time and countdownWhen the match begins; check the contest details for when entries close
Prize poolThe total pool for that contest, as shown on the card
EntryThe amount needed to join that contest
SpotsHow many entries the contest accepts

Yes/No questions: read the exact wording

Hero11 Fantasy can work differently from team-builder apps. When we checked in October 2026, cricket contests used short Yes/No questions, for example whether a named player reaches a score or wins a match award.

Small words change the answer. “Reach 50” and “score more than 50” are different questions, and a question about one match doesn't cover the whole series. Check these points every time:

  • Who or what the question names: a player, a team or an award.
  • The exact number or event it asks about.
  • Which match, innings or period it covers.
  • What happens if the match is cancelled or shortened, or the player doesn't take part.

Common mistakes on Fantasy cards

Most problems with Fantasy contests come from reading the card too quickly. These are the ones to watch for:

  • Joining the wrong match: two cards from the same series can look alike, so check the teams and the start time, not just the tournament label.
  • Reading only the headline number: the prize pool is for the whole contest, while the entry amount is what you pay to take part.
  • Answering a different question: “wins Player of the Match” and “scores the most runs” are separate events.
  • Waiting too long: entries close before or at the start, so the countdown is your deadline, not the end of the match.
  • Mixing up sports: the Cricket and Football filters show separate lists, so switch filters if you can't find a match.

Track your entries in My Matches

After you join, open My Matches to see the contests you've entered and their status. A match ending and a contest being settled are two separate steps: Hero11 applies the result under that contest's rules, so the status can take a little time to update.

If a result looks wrong, save the match, the question and the time before contacting Help. Our results and history guide lists exactly what to note.

Before your first contest

  • Start with one match and an entry you're comfortable with until you understand how settlement works.
  • Read the contest rules for cancelled or abandoned matches before joining.
  • Ignore paid tip groups and apps that claim to know answers in advance; nobody can see a match result before it happens.
  • Compare formats in Fantasy vs Casino if you're unsure which section suits you.
18+ and play within limits

Fantasy contests with an entry amount are for adults 18 and over. Set your budget before the match starts and stop when you reach it. More on responsible play.
